2026 - Battle of the Pinball Leagues

This is the first event of hopefully many more to come.  This is a potluck event so please bring something to share.

• When:  Saturday, April 11th 2026

• What Time: 11:00am practice, play starts at 12pm sharp

• Where: Cameron Park, CA.  Details will be sent to league email distros and commissioners.

• Entry:  $5 per player, with proceeds covering IFPA fees, trophies and potluck food.

• Who:  The following local area leagues have been invited, any member in good standing in the last year can participate.

  1. Greater Sacramento Pinball League

  2. Solano Pinball League

  3. Tilted Sisters - Women's League

  4. CCPL - Folsom

  5. CCPL - Lodi

  6. Stanislaus Pinball

Format: Target Match Play  - Tournament will be hosted on Matchplay.events <- insert link here   

Rules:

All players must arrive and check-in by 12pm.

Doors open at 11:00am for practice.

Some players are associated/members of multiple leagues, all players must declare a league affiliation when checking in.

Do not play extra balls, plunge out.  

Tilting another player will result in a last place finish for that match and a score of 0.

Slam tilting will result in a loss, with a second offense as disqualification from the entire event.

Death saves are not permitted

Rulings will adhere to the IFPA Tournament rules as closely as possible.

Qualifying:

Players will be placed in groups of 3 or 4 depending on participation with PAPA Scoring (4/2/1/0) for each round.

An emphasis will be placed on moving players to groups from different league affiliations as best as possible.

All players will play the same set of rounds, with rounds starting after the previous round has finished.

Target score to qualify for playoffs will be 18 points.

First 16 players to reach target will qualify for playoffs, or if target score has not been achieved after 3.5 hrs, a cutoff line will be enforced for the top 16 scores.  With a tie-break round if needed.

Finals:

Will be a Double elimination bracket run on matchplay between the top 16 qualifiers.  Arenas will be selected at random.
